Welcome to Kelly McClymer's slice of cyperspace. Things are usually a bit hectic at the McClymer household, but there's usually some news...
A little late, but not forgotten--my daughter graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in psychology and entered the Peace Corps. She has now been in Madagascar for over a year. Things I've learned: calling Madagascar is very expensive, but nobelcom.com has excellent on-line phone cards available; trying to ship anything from a manufacturer (even a French manufacturer) is impossible; and, I don't like not knowing how my daughter is for weeks at a time.
Because I've been fortunate to have a local Scottish Rites Masonic Learning Center to help my son get valuable (and free!) help with his dyslexia, I have started training to become a tutor for children with dyslexia. As always with any new venture, I am amazed by the things I am learning and humbled by my cheerful, willing students. Because of some eyestrain issues, I'm still only halfway through my practicum, but I should finish up this year and be a full-fledges tutor.
We're saying a last goodbye to the nice summer weather. Here's hoping the leaves are beautiful this fall.
Kelly
