I peruse blogs through Bloglines as a mental palate cleanser between jobs (i.e. fritter time away before getting back to work). Often I think, “I should blog about that.” But I usually don’t. This blog post, on Crowe’s Nest, fully expresses how I feel about writing and rejection. I’ve had to look hard at all the work I’m trying to juggle with launching a new business and think about whether my writing should go on hiatus (quitting was never an option).

I knew the answer, but I wasn’t quite sure how to articulate the decision for myself. Then, I read the blog post and realized I didn’t need to. Someone else already had. I write because I like it, I need to share, and I’m good at it. End of story.
