Giveaway! Find out the secrets of Paolini’s Dragon Riders
I am remiss. BenBella Books has reissued an updated version of Secrets of The Dragon Riders, which contains fabulous essays by YA authors on the series by Christopher Paolini (Eragon). We all updated our essays after Brsinger was released. Mine, entitled “My Dragon, Myself” was fun to write and fun to update — I want a dragon of my own. Although…I don’t love heights. So, maybe not. Anyway. New content, and new cover (below). In celebration, BenBella is offering a lucky reader of my blog a free copy.

So, I have been trying to figure out what would be a good giveaway criteria. I don’t want to make it complicated. Here’s the deal: comment below — or, if you’re shy, send me an email at kmcclymer @ netscape.com [remove the spaces on either side of the @] — telling me if you’re brave enough to ride a dragon. One week from today, I’ll do a random drawing and contact the winner for mailing address (if you are under 18, you should check with your parental unit for an appropriate address). The lovely folks at BenBella will then send you your own personal copy.
And for anyone who was looking for the rest of my business plan posts — they resume tomorrow. We’re getting to the financial section, and I just discovered a great way to embed some graphics (the other sections are awfully….word intensive).
Remember — you may win your own personal copy of the Secrets of the Dragon Riders just for emailing me whether or not you are brave enough to fly on the scaly back of a dragon.

I certainly wish that I could ride a dragon. It would feel so free, and the accompanying companionship would be awesome as well.
