Whether you’re in Times Square (shudder at the thought of pressing in amongst the throngs), celebrating at home, or turning in early, be safe and warm as the year ticks over from 2009 to 2010.

We’ll probably be staying in and watching others brave the crowds and the night to wave goodbye to the year. Some champagne, a midnight toast, and a moment to appreciate all that 2009 brought with it.

And then to bed. I do soooo like my eight hours of sleep.
