HAPPY LABOR DAY!
Slight interruption to our study of the Top Ten Truths to the Agent Search, to celebrate the American Labor Day Holiday.
I’m enjoying the fruits of all my labors on the other 364 days of the year. I hope you are too, if you’re an American. Or, better yet, doing as DS1 is, and making holiday overtime pay on the job.
Yay labor unions, you made working conditions better in the past, and I hope you will continue to do so into the future. Although — wouldn’t it be awesome if Labor Day was really a celebration of the effort every mother in the world ever made to get her children here? Wishful thinking.
If you don’t know the history of Labor Day, check it out here. I like that we stop to value productivity over consumerism on this day. Is it bad that I may go shopping at some of the sales tomorrow? Hmmm. Maybe I’ll just cook out.
